| With only sketchy drawings, John Norman begins to lay out the materials for building a new rudder. With any luck, we may still be able to find an original, but they seem to be very few and far between. |
| An original tail fin has arrived from England and has found a new home on AM274. |
| John spent untold hours at the mill to make a polygonal jig of proper dimensions in order to build the four, special, double layer, center section, spar caps required for the restoration of the Hawker Hurricane AM274. |
