| This is one of two Taylorcraft BC12-D projects that found their way to JNE Aircraft Restoration Services in April 2007. John Norman has begun the process of this 'ground up' restoration. Beginning with a detailed inspection of the fuselage tubing, applying new primer and new paint then replacing all the wooden structure. He has restored the instrument panel to a 'like new' condition, and reinstalled most of the instruments. The engine has been totally rebuilt and is back on the engine mount. John has cleaned, inspected, repaired, and applied primer to the wing parts ... including two wing tanks, in preparation for re-assembly on brand new spars. |
